Stromboli

Rolled dough filled with meats, cheese, and Italian spices, then baked to perfection.

Ingredients:
  • 1 Pro Dough Company dough ball (14 oz)

  • 4–6 slices of salami, pepperoni, or ham

  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or provolone

  • 1/2 tsp Pro Dough Tuscan or Classic Spice Pack (optional)

  • 1 egg (for egg wash)


Instructions:
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

  2. Roll dough into a rectangle (~10x14”).

  3. Layer meats and cheese down the center, sprinkle with spice pack.

  4. Fold the sides over and seal the seam.

  5. Brush with egg wash and place seam-side down on a baking sheet.

  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and firm.

  7. Let cool slightly before slicing into pinwheels.
