Ingredients:
1 Pro Dough Company dough ball (12–14 oz)
1 apple, peeled and diced
1 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tbsp butter
Optional: powdered sugar icing or caramel drizzle
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400°F.
In a small skillet, cook diced apples with butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice for 5–7 minutes until softened. Let cool slightly.
Divide dough in half and roll each piece into a 6–8” circle.
Spoon the apple filling onto one half of each circle, fold over, and seal the edges tightly.
Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 15–18 minutes, until golden.
Let cool slightly, then drizzle with icing or caramel before serving.
